How to keep the lizards away

hi friends,

does anyone of you know how to keep the lizards away from entering the house? my wife is very scared of lizards and all the time we are keeping the eye on them. these lizards are always hovering outside our main door and may get into the house.

What should be done to keep them entering the house?
