Automatic or manual cars?

so i was living in australia for last 4 years. There I learned to drive for first time. But I only drove automatic cars there.

Now I have moved back to India. To practice driving here I used my mom's Swift, in which I learned to operate manual gear shift car. I can now drive it perfectly in Delhi.
But now I want to get a new car. I'm thinking of Ecosport. But I'm confused whether to get it in automatic or manual. I can drive both kinds, but if I had to pick one it would be automatic. Just less jhanjat..

What do members here prefer? And why? Pros/cons of each?
