A pastor was arrested on charges of assault after allegedly rubbing black pepper on his wife's private parts because she cheated on him, police in Nigeria said.
Lagos State Police said that the pastor identified as Solomon, is being questioned along with his mother and siblings in connection with inflicting serious injury on his wife identified as Sukura.
According to witnesses, the pastor and his siblings were seen rubbing black pepper on the womans private parts before inserting a soda bottle in her.
The suspect accused her of committing adultery.
According to the police investigation, after Sukura came home late, she was asked where she spent the day, but she refused to answer.
As a result, she was tortured. She and her family filed a complaint with the police, and Solomon was arrested.
