The world is still not out of the shock of missing Malaysian plane and here in India, a complete passenger train has gone missing… Yes! We are not joking. :shy:
An Indian passenger train running en-route Gorakhpur-Muzaffarpur has gone missing in Bihar. :peep:
If reports are to be believed, the Gorakhpur-Muzaffarpur passenger train went missing from Hajipur railway station in Bihar, where it was re-routed along with several others trains. :goteam:
North Eastern Railway officials have confirmed the reports claiming that hunt is on for the missing train since 14 days. :(
According to officials, on the late night of August 25, a nine coach goods train overturned at Ghughli Bazar station on Gorakhpur-Narkatiaganj route, forcing all the trains running on that route being to divert onto a different route via Deoria, Chhapra and Varanasi. :stoned:
The Gorakhpur-Muzaffarpur passenger train too was diverted on the same route; however this route too was shut down following failure at the railway interlocking system.
As the route had Hajipur railway station as a major stop, Gorakhpur-Muzaffarpur passenger train too was made to make a stop at Hajipur. :refree:
Four days after the incident, officials were shocked after they were informed that the Gorakhpur-Muzaffarpur passenger train had been missing since the day of the incident. :cold:
It has been 14 days now and the hunt is still on to locate the missing passenger train. :mad2: :mad2: :mad2:
The news of missing train reminds us of a similar incident, which involved Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, that had gone missing and even after 6 months there are no clues leading to location of the missing flight. :blush2:
